Carla Hutchinson offers over 35 years of experience in orthopaedics and sports-related injuries. She takes great pride in delivering high quality one-on-one treatments with an attentive approach that optimizes therapeutic benefits and ensures proper instructions in exercise and movement. Her approach empowers clients to take charge in their recovery.

Carla, having lived in Switzerland for a year in grade 13 where she fell in love with the mountains, decided that her future was in the west. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy in 1984, she made her way to Vancouver, in 1986.

She began her career in private practice with 10 valuable years at the Treloar Physiotherapy Clinic in Vancouver. While there, she pursued post-graduate studies and passed her Part A exam in Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy in 1992. Weekends were spent exploring the west coast, hiking, biking, and skiing.

Their love of the outdoor lifestyle inspired Carla and her family to move to Nelson in 2000. She opened Crystal Creek Physiotherapy Clinic in 2002, where she continues to offer clinical services of highest standards, treating every client with respect and excellence. Carla continues to educate herself with ongoing training in specialized courses.
